This setting is used to specify a list of users and/or computers that should receive administrative alerts.

Open your registry using REGEDT32 and find the key below.

Modify the REG_MULTI_SZ value called "AlertNames" and on a seperate line enter each user or computer to receive the alerts.

Restart Windows for the change to take effect.


(Default)	REG_SZ	(value not set)
AlertNames	REG_MULTI_SZ	"jsmith jdoe"


	HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Alerter\Parameters

Settings:

System Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Alerter\Parameters]
Name: AlertNames
Type: REG_MULTI_SZ (Multi-String Value)
